The 6 speed AB60E, AB60F transmission may be found in Toyota and Lexus trucks and SUVs such as:

• Toyota Landcruiser 5.7L, 2009 to 2015 — check for skid plate
• Toyota Landcruiser Series 200 and Series 79 (Australia) — check for skid plate
• Toyota Sequoia 5.7L, 2008 to 2018
• Toyota Tundra 5.7L, 2007 to 2018, some 2019 and newer models
• Lexus LX570 5.7 and some 4.5, 2008 to 2018

Always check your vehicle configuration and clearance before ordering. Verify that your vehicle has an AB60 transmission and has space for a larger aftermarket pan.

Some 2019 and newer models may have the new Toyota 10 speed transmission. Some have this 6 speed transmission. If your truck has the 10 speed transmission, this pan is NOT designed for the 10 speed transmission. PML is not yet making a pan for the Toyota 10 speed.

Vehicle with skid plates may not have space for this extra capacity transmission oil pan with the skid plate installed. A spacer for the skid plate may be possible.

This PML transmission pan will not work with the stock gasket. A gasket is included with the pan.

Transmission Filter and Gasket

This PML transmission pan works with the stock filter, available from a Toyota dealer or an auto parts store. Baffles on the inside of the PML pan reduce sloshing, direct the flow of fluid toward the pickup, and aid in heat dissipation.

This PML transmission pan will not work with the stock gasket. PML includes a cork gasket, of our own design, for this transmission pan. Some prefer to use silicon "gasket maker" which also will make a great seal. Order additional PML AB60 transmission pan cork gaskets here: PML Gasket.

The PML gasket will not work with the stock pan.

Drain, Level Check and Optional Temperature Sending Unit Locations

PML located the drain plug on the left side of the pan. This is the driver side on US vehicles. On the side of the pan, the drain plug is less likely to get damaged.

The level check hole is on the right (passenger) side, in the same location as the stock hole. This hole can also be used to fill.

Optionally, PML can drill and tap a 1/8 NPT hole for a temperature sending unit. This would be for an aftermarket temperature gage. There is a custom machining charge.

There are two possible locations on this pan for machining a hole for a temperature sending unit. There is a boss (thick area) on both the driver and the passenger sides of the pan for this. Select the option before adding pan to cart. A plug for the hole is included. The standard size is 1/8 NPT. Check your aftermarket gage to verify the thread specifications for the sending unit before ordering. Call or email if you need a different size.
