PML has designed and manufactured a rear differential covers for 2019 and newer Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks and GM 1/2 ton SUVs and vans.
Some 2019 trucks and SUVs have this new differential and some have the same differential as the 2014 to 2018 trucks. The 12 bolt rear differential cover on 2014 and newer vehicles looks similar but is slightly smaller and the area around the fill hole is different. The gaskets are different also. See APPLICATIONS and SPECIFICATIONS sections for details.
The ring gear may be 9.5 or 9.75 and this new differential is probably made by GM, not American Axle (AAM).

Applications:
This differential is found on some 2019 and newer Silverado and Sierra 1500. Similar Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC SUVs, trucks and vans may also have this differential.
Always check your vehicle to verify configuration and clearance.

Comparing 2014 and Newer and 2019 and Newer Stock Covers
Area around and below fill hole is different. The bolt hole pattern and size is slightly different but it is easiest to see the difference around the fill/level check hole.

To figure out which you have, try checking the OEM gasket part number or visually comparing your cover to the picture above.
Drain, Level Check and Optional Temperature Sending Unit Machining
This PML cover has a drain hole on the bottom for easy servicing of differential. Fill/level check hole is on the side. Hardware is included with cover.
If you have an aftermarket temperature sending unit and gage to monitor fluid temperatures, there is a boss that can be machined for a 1/8 NPT hole for the temperature sending unit.

Included with Package with PML Differential Cover
With the differential cover, PML includes new mounting bolts and washers, a plug for the level check hole and a magnetic drain plug with a reuseable copper sealing washer.
