Our 1965-1966 Impala & Caprice Kenwood dual voice coil dash speaker is a single 4x10 speaker mounted on a bracket with two tweeters on it. The left tweeter plays the highs from the left channel with the right tweeter plays the highs from the right channel in order to give you stereo sound from a single speaker. This 1965-1966 Impala & Caprice bracketed dual voice coil speakers is designed to act like your original speaker, but provide better sound. Each tweeter on the 1965-1966 Impala & Caprice bracketed dual voice coil speaker is 4 ohm and is designed to work with our modern replacement radios. If you have an original 8 or 10 ohm radio, you may still use this speaker, but you will have to wire it in series and may or may not have to add an inline resistor. Please be careful when using with an original mono radio as improper wiring may fry your original, 8 or 10 ohm radio.
