The 3001DVC, dual voice coil dash speaker is the one we recommend for 4"x10" applications that do not require a bracket mounted to the speaker. On the dual dash mount speakers, including the Kenwood, the center of plate is not creating any mid-range sound whereas on the dual voice coil speaker it is. This 3006DVC dual voice coil speaker has four wire connections on the back, positive and negative for the left channel, and positive and negative for the right channel.
